This evening program focuses on the Chimney Swift, a species at risk that spends almost its entire life airborne but each night roosts in urban chimneys.
The program begins with a presentation in the library’s meeting room, followed by a guided walk through downtown Lindsay.
Participants will visit local roosting areas and watch as chimney swifts gather at dusk. This unique experience offers a closer look at a bird that travels thousands of kilometers each year.
This event is sponsored by Bird Friendly Kawartha Lakes. No registration needed.
